Our Basic Price Includes:
Third-party insurance with a liability of 1,2 million Euros is the basic, obligatory coverage included in all prices. This insurance also covers passengers of the rental car for the same amount. So, insurance covers all third-party damages in all cases.
C.D.W.: This is the basic insurance plan which also covers damages to your rental car. The basic price always includes C.D.W., which reduces your maximum risk to 500€, 700€, 900€ or 1200€ depending on the car category.
Of course, in case of an accident where it is not your fault, you do not have to pay for any damage.
We provide 24 Hour Road assistance and replacement of the Rental Car in Corfu in case of a breakdown.

Depending on the insurance plan you want to include, you can reduce your liability in case of an accident.
Extra Insurance cover: This will extend the C.D.W. and reduce your maximum risk to 100€ or 120€ in case of a collision with another vehicle (s). This Extra cover also covers Glass, mirrors, and theft, so it is full insurance of the car. Of course, this is in case it is your fault.
The Full insurance still does not cover the undercarriage, interior, roof, or car’s key.
Insurance Validation:
Please note that in any case of accident or damage, you should contact Corfu Car Rentals immediately. Moreover, it is important not to move your rental car. We need to fill in the Accident report on the spot, so our representative will come immediately to the site of the accident.
Finally, note that NO insurance is valid when:
❌ Driving under alcohol or drug influence,
❌ Not driving according to national traffic law,
❌ Driving the rental car in non-asphalt or off-road areas,
❌ Rental car is parked in unsafe or not-certified areas,
❌ There is no accident report filled on the spot,
❌ Driver is not registered on the Rental Car Agreement.
